Premium bonds draw
At the start of each month there’s the premium bonds draw.
We were still up at midnight, so my wife and I logged on to see the verdict.
We checked mine first and unlike my angling session, I blanked.
My zero announcement was followed by a message encouraging me not to cash my bonds.
Then, we clicked on my wife’s account and although she only had two prizes, they were £50 each.
I set my sights realistically and if we can get £100 each month I’m happy, with anything else a bonus.
Therefore, I was happy.
