More crucian carp fishing
I enjoyed my recent couple of visits to the crucian carp water.
It’s a secret venue and is part of a breeding programme for them.
As well as the focus species, there are also tench in there but that’s it.
Last time out I caught a tiny tinca and this time round I also banked just the one tench.
It was a much bigger fish on this occasion though and was on my last cast.
It was caught on a single grain of corn, fishing to lilies and overhanging branches.
