The Case Of The Belligerent Ghost is a Sherlock Holmes television movie from 1954.

It stars Ronald Howard as Holmes, H. Marion Crawford as Dr. Watson and Archie Duncan as Inspector Lestrade.

Watson encounters a man who dies of a heart attack in his presence.

Shortly afterwards, he is attacked by the same man in the street.

It’s all very puzzling, until Holmes gets involved.

He latches on to a time discrepancy of one hour, that proves to be the key to solving the mystery.

The crime behind the scenes is the theft at an art gallery.
