Some nice bream in the Staffs/Worcs Canal
One day I’m watching a big yellow-tipped float bobbing around in the Irish Sea and the next day – quite literally – I’m gazing at a much smaller one with an orange top in the Staffordshire/Worcestershire Canal.
With it being half-term -plus we’re in an incredibly warm spell at the moment – I left it until late in the day before I fished.
Especially this week, it’s better to fish an hour at the start or close of the day rather than three or four in the middle.
I was on a stretch of canal where I have fished before but not for a while.
I’ve had some nice perch from there though in the past.
You can see my tackle approach in the accompanying video.
I ended the session with lots of perch, one roach a bream and an eel.
