Some nice bream in the Staffs/Worcs Canal — Television viewing habits more royal family than Royle family — Sherlock Holmes from 1954 — The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air from 1990

The Case Of Harry Crocker is a Sherlock Holmes television movie from 1954.

It stars Ronald Howard as Holmes, H. Marion Crawford as Dr. Watson and Archie Duncan as Inspector Lestrade.

Harry Crocker, an escape artist, visits Holmes and Watson to protest his innocence after being arrested for the murder of a girl at the theatre.

He had just escaped from police custody and Lestrade turns up and he’s detained again.

He once more slips the police and this is an ongoing theme.

Arrest, escape, arrest, escape…

Lestrade is convinced that Crocker is the murderer, not so Holmes, and as is always the case, the latter is right.
