Wolves and Leeds, my two favourite English teams
To wrap the evening up, I watched Wolves v Crystal Palace on television.
It was a massive win for Wolves and the three points puts them in a comfortable position ahead of the relegation pack.
With the game finishing before the Leeds United v Leicester City encounter, as soon as the Molineux final whistle was blown, I switched channels.
I was hoping that Leeds would hold on for the victory but the visitors hit back.
Then, right at the end, I thought Patrick Bamford was going to grab a late winner for Leeds.
I’m sure he’ll be reliving that opportunity this evening in his mind.
Leeds are still outside the relegation places though, just that a win would have been much better, of course.
