A carrion crow on the roof of the bungalow immediately below ours, feeding among the moss on the tiles.

Four stock doves below the feeding station first thing this month.

Letting the dog out in the garden for the final time, in the early hours of the morning, I heard a frog croaking.
Going out, I saw a common frog in the smaller pond and a smooth newt in the larger one.
Later, while cleaning out the former, I came across a pair of mating common frogs, locked together.
Great to see and I’m looking forward to spawn in due course.
