The water wasn’t crystal clear but not murky either, so it was all clearly visible.
It might not be the biggest pike that I’ve caught but it’s certainly one of the most interesting.
It proved to be the only one of the 2.5 hours session, although I did have a couple of float bobs that didn’t develop.
One resulted in a stolen dead bait. A wise pike.
