Like all anglers, I keep an eye on the weather forecast. However, I never let it dictate as to whether I fish or not, just where I go and how I approach the session,
Yesterday’s prediction was for a strong breeze this morning but, apart from being aware of that information, it had no bearing on anything at all.
I thought there might be a chop on the pool I was going to but other than that, it was business as usual.
However, when I woke this morning the weather wasn’t as forecast. Looking out the window, the palm tree in the garden is always a good indicator of wind speed and there was just a gentle ripple of the leaves.
Checking the internet, the wind was now picking up late morning instead. Imagine if I had changed my plans to suit the weather forecast.
