Before work, fishing, and the weight-loss plan is coming along nicely

My rod was a 12-feet Greys Prodigy and the reel a 3500 Shimano, with freshly-spooled 4lb Maxima Chameleon.

I did that last night, just before I watched Bachelor Knight with my wife.

The float was a small waggler with the shot either side, so that the two white maggots on a size 14 Drennan Super Specialist hook sank naturally through the water,

I trickled loose maggots in the water by hand as I was only one rod length from the bank.

Due to the overhanging trees casting was an issue, but I dealt with that by flicking the float under arm.
