Locker Sixty-Nine, a 1962 black and white Edgar Wallace Mysteries movie

A black and white Merton Park Studios movies from 1962, starring Eddie Byrne, Walter Brown, Paul Daneman and Penelope Horner.

It’s based on a story by Edgar Wallace and is one of the Edgar Wallace Mysteries films.

A fraudster fakes his own death and the movie follows the police investigation (which is more of a press one) and the comings and goings of others, including his business partner.

A difficult film to follow and not particularly riveting.

Although much of the filming was indoors, it’s always nice to see outdoors footage, even the cars of the day, as per the lead image.

I watched it on TPTV Encore.
