I enjoyed the session very much and it was my intention anyway to return and have a few more outings on there before winter’s out.
Catching the carp has merely reinforced my plan.
I’m back to a busy few days with other stuff, but the intention is to get out on the venue at some point next week.
It was also nice to settle back and wait for a run. Variety is certainly the spice of angling life.
I saw a muntjac on the walk through the woodland and, while I was there, ravens and a little egret. Angling definitely puts you at the heart of the natural world.
