I was intending to go fishing today anyway and, as I will be on my way to work this morning, it was by necessity going to be a short outing.
I was initially thinking about an hour fishing with maggots on a small pool but I found my mind edging towards a lure session.
In the end, it was the latter that I went for and, of course, keeping it local.
Fishing for about forty-five minutes, I didn’t even get a take, never mind a fish on the bank.
Going for my favourite mini-jigging approach, I teased a 2” rubber fish on a 0.7g jighead without any success.
