Dublin Nightmare, a crime thriller from 1958 when Nelson’s Pillar still stood in Sackville Street

A black and white movie, Dublin Nightmare is set in the Irish capital in 1958.

A group of Irish nationalists plan a bank raid to raise money for their cause.

It doesn’t go quite to plan though, when one of the robbers (Richard Leech) kills another so that he can keep the cash for himself.

He gets rumbled, however, and the film ends with him being killed.

It is a low-budget movie but still watchable.
