Unfortunately, when I cast out and checked my head torch, I realised that it must have switched on in my bag.
The batteries had drained.
It cut my session down to about an hour.
I was after roach and hoping that fishing into dark, in particular, would produce some fish.
As it was, I didn’t even get a tap or a sucked maggot.
