The Charge Of The Light Brigade, 1854 in 1968

A 1968 film based on the famous 1854 battle, it shows the ability of the screen to influence your thinking.

It portrays the army as unprofessional.

There is a considerable amount of time prior to battle that covers squabbles, childish behaviour and immaturity.

It doesn’t end either when they travel to Crimea to fight the Russians.

The film itself had a budget of $6.5 million but grossed considerably less.

It wasn’t a success financially.
