Once, twice but not quite three Commodores additions to my Motown vinyl collection

I was in a Black Country town on some other business (shopping, so nothing complicated) and while I was there, I visited a couple of charity shops.

It’s how my Motown vinyl collection has grown.

I have rummaged through thousands of records over time that haven’t been relevant and then, in with the classical collections, Jim Reeves and Harry Secombe, I find what I’m looking for.

That was the case this time round when the first shop drew a blank but the second one, after twenty minutes of working my way through the records, produced a couple of Commodores 12” singles.

Both released in 1977, the first was in the A Motown Big One series.

I can remember Zoom and Too Hot Ta Trot first time round and I loved both songs.
