Work then fishing is panning out well and it means I can get to visit waters that would normally involve distance.
It certainly wouldn’t be viable – either economically or time-wise – to travel 100-plus miles to fish for a few hours.
However, when you’re in the area anyway, it makes sense.
It’s always a pleasant journey home as well.
The A5 at 9.30 p.m around Shrewsbury (especially Dobbies’ roundabout) is very different then to five hours earlier.
