It was good news that the annual Oswestry parade was back on again this year.
Organised by Borderland Rotary, the event is brilliant, and in the years that I’ve been in attendance, I’ve certainly enjoyed it.
My involvement is to cover the float put together by the charitable arm of TNS FC, The New Saints Foundation.
I definitely appreciate the big picture though and this time round, rather than sit on the float, I went mobile.
It meant I not only covered the club’s participation from a different angle but I got to see all the other floats as well.
As always, it was really well attended. Its wonderful to see communities come together.
