The pre-match media work ahead of the JD Cymru Premier MD15 game between Bala Town and The New Saints began at the start of the week.
Among other things was a press conference with head coach, Anthony Limbrick, and a match preview.
Games at Maes Tegid, the home of Bala Town, don’t involve a team bus so that’s an extended car journey for me.
As far as time was concerned, I left home at 3.00 p.m. and finally got to bed after 1.00 a.m. the next day.
It was certainly a happy drive home, though, with a 4-1 victory ensuring The New Saints continued the excellent start to the season.
It was 2-0 at the break, with goals from Ben Clark and Blaine Hudson.
Another two in the second period, from Declan McManus and Jordan Williams, secured the three points.
The Lakesiders scored a late consolation goal to deny the visitors a clean sheet.
Following the game, I interviewed Anthony Limbrick and Blaine Hudson.
This was my 37th game of the season.
I recorded some pre-match footage at Maes Tegid and you can watch that below.
