July 1: Red kite (Bird in flight low over the valley. Seen from our garden. First of the year, up to 45 species.) Blackbird (Male feeding a juvenile on the lawn.) Robin (Juvenile in the garden.)

July 2: Stock dove (On the lawn.) Robin (Juvenile in the garden.)

July 3: Red kite (In low flight over our bungalow, heading towards the western ridge.) Common buzzard (Four soaring over the valley, seen from the garden.)

July 5: Starling (c.30 in flight over neighbouring gardens.)

July 8: Blackbird (Male only been in the garden the last couple of days. It enjoys its visit to the bird bath and there are photographs of that in the video.) Goldfinch (Adult feeding a juvenile on the lawn.)

July 9: Meadow brown (In the living room, courtesy of the patio door open.) Swift (Several birds high over the valley, seen from the living room.)

July 10: Peacock (Single butterfly in the kitchen.) Robin (Juvenile on the feeding station.)

July 11: Stock dove (Beneath the feeding station. Two visits.)

July 13: Greenfinch (Male and female on the feeding station. Captured the former on camera for the monthly video.)

July 14: Stock dove (Beneath the feeding station.) Great spotted woodpecker (Female on the fat ball feeder.)

July 15: Greenfinch (Pair on the feeding station.) Robin (Adult briefly on the feeding station.)

July 16: Stock dove (Pair of birds on the lawn.) Raven (Three separate birds in flight, within five minutes of each other, seen from the drive.)

July 17: Stock dove (On the lawn.) Great spotted woodpecker (On the fat ball feeder.)

July 18: House sparrow (Female and three juveniles around the feeding station.)

July 19: House sparrow (Female and three juveniles around the feeding station still. They’ve found a food source and they’ve stayed.) Blackbird (Male with three juveniles in the garden.)

July 20: House sparrow (Female and three juveniles still in the garden.)

July 21: House sparrow (Female and three juveniles still in the garden.) Stock dove (Two single birds in the garden during the day.)

July 22: Stock dove ( Dark plumage bird, a regular visitor, in the garden.) Blackbird (Male and two juveniles feeding on the lawn.) Greenfinch (Pair of birds on the sunflower seeds feeder. We get the species every day.) Magpie (Three juveniles feeding around the station.)

July 23: Stock dove (Dark plumage bird beneath the feeding station.) House sparrow (Female on the seed feeder.) Collared dove (Feeding on the lawn.)

July 24: Stock dove (Dark plumage bird beneath the feeding station.) Raven (Five soaring high over the central woodland. Seen from the kitchen.)

July 25: House sparrow (Female on the seed feeder.)

July 26: House sparrow (Female on the seed feeder.) Greenfinch (Four juveniles on the sunflower hearts feeder.)

July 27: Greenfinch (Numerous birds on both the feeding station and beneath it. Most seen at one time: Seven juveniles.)

July 28: Stock dove (Dark plumage bird beneath the feeding station and on the lawn.)

July 29: Collared dove (Bird feeding beneath the station. First in a while.)

July 30: Stock dove (Dark plumage bird beneath the feeding station and on the lawn.)

July 31: Stock dove (Pair beneath the feeding station and on the lawn, followed by a single bird later in the day.)
