🎣 Fishing the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal, as a cold easterly wind blows across the country
Looking to put yesterday’s blank on the Staffs & Worcs Canal to bed, I returned first thing this morning. I said in the video that it felt milder. Well, at that stage of the day and based on the fact that I’d only been on the drive, it was.
However, by the time I arrived at the water’s edge it was cold. Very cold. The strong wind from the east meant that it felt Arctic. I fished for three hours without a single bite. Funnily enough, I didn’t see any other anglers. I can’t think why…
