🎣 Fishing the canal as the wintry conditions take hold
After yesterday’s angling session on the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal, it was back for more of the same today. Minus the fish, that is. I fished in exactly the same way but the conditions were different.
Before I could leave the drive at home, I was scraping ice from the car. The sub-zero air temperature hit a maximum of 3C, the wind was from the north and my toes were in a bad way.
I was visited by a friendly robin and at least that wanted my maggots. I captured footage of it and that is the video for this session. I also watched a kingfisher catching tiny roach.
