🎣 Fishing the Staffs & Worcs Canal and a tip if you think you are a rubbish angler…
Time was tighter than usual this morning, as I needed to be back home by 10.00 a.m. to take my wife somewhere. However, the days are getting noticeably longer, and I was on the bank and fishing before 7.00 a.m.
It was the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal on the agenda and I headed for a stretch where I have done a few sessions in the last year. My last visit though, which was in extremely cold conditions, drew a blank.
This time, with the weather turning yesterday, I was hoping to do better. Although I had activity from small roach at the start, I couldn’t convert the interest to a fish on the bank, and 2.5 hours later, I registered another blank.
