🎣 Fishing the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal and we’ve turned the corner

As far as my angling is concerned, if I’m enjoying something, I tend to keep doing it and, on that logic, I was back on the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal this morning for the fifth session on the bounce.

It was the same tackle approach as per the last trip, which was fishing two white maggots on a size 16 Drennan Super Specialist hook over loose maggots. The float was a 0.8g Drennan crystal waggler and the line Maxima Chameleon 4 lb.

It wasn’t exactly frantic but, with a couple of perch on the bank, let’s hope that the corner we have turned with the weather isn’t one that we go back to, as we move forward. Still, regardless of the conditions, I’ll be fishing anyway.
