🎣 Fishing | Rain stops gardening play but the angling show continues and another pleasant surprise
I had two gardening jobs planned for today, unfortunately the heavy – and persistent – rain meant that neither happened. The first one was a definite no-no but I was hopeful for the afternoon slot.
However, further rain meant that was also a victim of the weather. While there are limitations as far as gardening is concerned, when it comes to fishing there aren’t.
Rain is no problem as far as fish are concerned, after all they are wet anyway. A short session on a pool saw roach and rudd on the bank, as well as a surprise quality bream. As long as your bait’s in the water and all that.
