🎣 A session of two halves on the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal
It was nice to get back on the local canal this morning for a couple of hours. I enjoy a change, after all it’s as good as a rest, and even if I fish a venue for a number of sessions on the bounce, I like to swap swims sometimes.
I returned to a spot where I blanked last time I visited. However, having said that, it was back in the winter. Mind you, having to scrape ice again this morning, it felt like January. Once the sun rose though, the weather changed considerably.
As always, you can follow the session via the video, where I caught small roach. The first hour was busy, the final one slow. Hence the reference in the headline. That’s the way it is sometimes but at least I caught.
