A Friday afternoon walk around Cardiff, the city of arcades

With some free time before departing for the Cardiff Met v The New Saints game, I went for a walk.

The Radison Blu hotel, where we stayed is right on the edge of the city centre, so quite literally, cross the road and you’re there.

My walk included the arcades, which go back to the nineteenth century and are what gives Cardiff its nickname of the city of arcades.

You can see them in the video, which is where footage comes into its own as far as blogging is concerned.

I also visited the market and saw the Gold Reserves Jewellers stall, who advertise regularly on GB News.

Advertising leaves an impression on you and as I walked the streets and saw the arcade, the advert came to mind.

There’s also footage of the king and I. Or is it Shakin’ Stevens?
