A surprise visitor in the garden
Before I went to bed, after arriving home from Colwyn Bay, I let my dog out for the final time.
He’s usually quiet but on this occasion he was frantically barking.
I went outside myself to discover a hedgehog on the ground beneath the bird feeding station.
It was curled in a defensive ball due to the encounter with Dilwyn but it was great to see.
It’s the first one of the year and I had been disappointed to have not seen one thus far.
