Starring Doris Day, Pajama Game 1957
Set in a pajama factory, the two lead stars are Doris Day (Katherine ‘Babe’ Williams and John Raitt (Sid Sorokin).
Sid is the new superintendent at the factory and he and Babe fall in love.
The problem is that she’s on the grievance committee and there’s an ongoing dispute between the workers and the management over a 7.5 cents rise.
In the end it all works out.
Released in 1957, it’s a musical.
