Throwing balls of brown crumb and sweetcorn about three rod lengths from the bank, I didn’t have too long to wait before the first fish put in an appearance.
I was legering using a small bomb, size ten hook and a single grain of corn.
The fish continued to come as well, with the last cast also producing a tench.
In addition to the six tench, I had two small roach and a foul-hooked perch.
