It was always going to be a tough game against BK Häcken in the Champions League qualifying round one.
When The New Saints went 2-0 down after just thirteen minutes, it looked ominous.
However, when Declan McManus scored his first goal in the competition, the outlook looked brighter.
Although the one-goal deficit only lasted four minutes, nevertheless the 3-1 result means that while TNS is down we aren’t out.
