Drinking beer for the first time in forty years
When we went for our evening meal in the hotel where we stayed – Stenungsbaden Yacht Club – I noticed there were bottles of ice-cold beer available for us.
I stopped drinking alcohol in my early twenties and since then I haven’t even had one sip.
I did have a couple of bottles in Sweden though and very nice it was.
However, let me say at this point that it was alcohol-free!
It was very malty and took it me back many years when I used to travel to Ghana and drank Malta Guiness (again, non-alcoholic), which tastes really good.
