European adventures with the champions of Wales — Norway’s beautiful Oslofjord — Welcome to Sweden — Drinking beer for the first time in forty years

European adventures with the champions of Wales

I enjoy football-related travel and day one of The New Saints’ Champions League adventures has certainly fed the tourist gene.

Up at 3.15 a.m. it was an early start, with the team bus doing several stops to pick up players and staff before eventually depositing us all at Manchester airport.

It was a very smooth check-in and the queues weren’t too bad at security either and in due course we were boarding the plane to Oslo.

I’ll be busy with footage for TNS’ social media platforms over the next few days and, as always, I’ll add my own clips for personal use.

Prior to departure from England, I did a short interview with midfielder, Jon Routledge.

Early in his career, while at Wigan Athletic, he was on loan at a club in Sweden, so that was a topical choice.
