A walk around Templepatrick, County Antrim
After Midgley Park, we returned to the hotel, where the rest of the evening was free time.
I still had a fair amount of post-match media stuff to do but once I’d worked through that, I went for a walk.
Leaving the hotel where we stayed (Templepatrick Hilton), I went to the village itself.
It’s a very nice place and although it’s not a tourist destination, nevertheless I always get something from every place I visit.
Its a unionist area and the flower bed dedicated to King Charles’ coronation is impressive.
There’s a mausoleum, churches and more, which you can see in the video below.
Afyer the very enjoyable stroll around the village, I went for a swim in the hotel pool.
