A shorter tench session than expected
My current sessions are short anyway but this one, as per the explanation why, was even more so.
I went for my usual three maggots over brown crumb approach, fishing just beyond the drop-off.
It took a while before I had my first fish, which was a tench.
I lost another two before ending the session with a small perch.
It’s a fine line sometimes but it was definitely nice to be on the right side of it this time especially.
