A morning angling visit to a pool
Inspired by my angling session, the following morning I was back on the same venue.
The approach etc was identical and, again, I caught roach.
I did strike at a bite that quite clearly wasn’t a silver though but unfortunately the tench took me into lilies, where it shed the hook.
Disappointed?
Well, of course in one sense, because naturally we all want to net every fish that we hook.
However, the reality is that we don’t and so on that front I just accepted it and, knowing that the tench in there are like the proverbial needle in a haystack, knew that there was a good chance I wouldn’t get another bite of the cherry.
I didn’t but left the pool inspired for a return.
