The Case Of The French Interpreter is a Sherlock Holmes television movie from 1955.

It stars Ronald Howard as Holmes, H. Marion Crawford as Dr. Watson and Archie Duncan as Inspector Lestrade.

Holmes and Watson take on the case of a French interpreter, who was taken secretly to a home where a man who only spoke French was captive.

He was being tortured by two men who wanted him to sign over a fortune.

Holmes works out where he’s being held and arrives just in time to save his life.
