Fishing a pool, the ones that got away and those that didn’t — Groom time for Dilwyn the Bedlington terrier — The wedding draws closer

On the previous visit I had a lost bream, when the fish and the hook went their separate ways.

This time, not only did I also part company with another bream but a tench as well.

Like before though, a lost fish merely strengthens my resolve and makes me more determined to ‘right’ the ‘wrong’.

One of the advantages of fishing most days is that you don’t have long to wait before you get back on the bank again.

At least I didn’t blank though, although lots of small roach aren’t necessarily a consolation when you lose a decent bream and tench.
