Time flies and it’s the last angling session of April on the Staffs/Worcs Canal

The answer, especially when they’re very active, is to fish around them.

Plus, early morning or late evening are the best times anyway to cast a line.

On my final angling session of the month, I fished a small waggler in the boat channel and presented two white maggots on a size 14 hook.

I fished over brown crumb and loose maggots, which I put out on arrival.

Then, I fed maggots on a regular basis throughout the session.
