A walk around the local streets, filming angling videos and an evening session on the canal

Apart from a brief, but very heavy, shower it’s been a nice day.

Early evening I took my dog for a walk around the local streets, as we made our way up the western slope of the valley.

It’s a steep climb but, as far as the birds are concerned, definitely worth it.

Due to the conditions, all three of the hills were clearly visible – Clent, Malvern and Crib-y-Garth.

The first two are in Worcestershire and, as the name suggests, the latter is beyond and on the England-Wales border.

I heard a greenfinch calling, a few jackdaws flew low overhead and a starling was perched on a rooftop
