Bank holiday fishing, more ring-necked parakeets and dangerous roads

Today’s fishing session was an early start, as I made my way to a small pool.

I was going to have an hour, which ended up as two.

That’s the beauty of a flexible life though, isn’t it.

I must say, that unless I’m working to an external schedule, the majority of my sessions end up being longer than planned.

I went for my usual approx, two (red) maggots on a size 14 hook, fished below a small waggler.

I was about twelve feet from the bank in a metre of water.
