Behind the media scenes working for a professional football club as The New Saints beat Penybont FC 5-2

It’s always a tough one against the Bont and although the last encounter was a 2-0 Welsh Cup victory for The New Saints, the eight previous matches ended with four draws and four wins but only by the odd goal.

They certainly raise their game against TNS and the opening exchanges saw Connor Roberts pull off a great save, while Josh Pask blocked well on the edge of the area.

As the half-time whistle blew though, it was the visitors who found themselves 2-0 ahead, with goals from Declan McManus and Danny Redmond.

When the home side pulled one back, it was game on and while they did score again at the end, The New Saints scored three in between.

Goals from Ash Baker, McManus and Danny Davies ensured a comfortable 5-2 win come the final whistle.
