We have some rain forecast anyway over the next few days so I’ll let it fill naturally.
I did a few other jobs in the garden, so after all the lifting and working, it felt like I’d had my workout for the day.
As the schools have finished for Easter, I went with my wife to collect our granddaughter, who will be staying with us for a few days.
Although our children have long since flown the nest, it’s grandchildren now who have replaced them.
We just make the most of it, as we do realise a time will come when Nyah (the eldest, who stays with us), won’t want to spend her weekends at our home.
It’s only natural.
