It was nice to watch a float again, as opposed to beachcaster rod tips pointing at the ocean – or the harbour.
I have done some lure sessions between now and then, which I’ve also thoroughly enjoyed.
Variety is the spice and all that, it’s definitely true when it comes to angling.
Although it was breezy on this particular session, I set up in a reasonably sheltered corner which meant that while filming was out of the question, I could fish comfortably.
The small waggler disappeared on the first cast and continued to do so through to the end.
