First sea fishing session of the year, great memories from Rhyl and a funny story

It was almost nine miles from the caravan to where I parked, but Talacre to Rhyl at 7.30 p.m. is hardly like driving around London in the day, and I was there in no time at all.

There’s more in the video but Rhyl has many special memories for me and that includes the harbour area for fishing.

Watch the accompanying video.

I was going to fish off the walkway on the Horton’s Nose side of the estuary. However there’s some construction work going on currently and it was closed.

No problem, I dropped my gear between the two bridges, with the added attraction I could see my parked car.
