First sea fishing session of the year, great memories from Rhyl and a funny story

When I’m on holiday, invariably that also involves fishing.

I do lots of other things as well, so the sessions are rarely more than a couple of hours long.

That’s why we always stay as close to the coast itself as possible.

Not only is it where we choose anyway for ourselves but, from an angling perspective, I don’t want to spend a lot of time driving to get there.

We always end up somewhere that means I can actually walk to the water, although on this occasion my first outing involved the car.
