The garden amphibians are back, a short angling trip to a pool and I’m looking forward to Connah’s Quay this evening

That enabled me to stay one step ahead of the predators.

Going for a couple of white maggots on a size 14 hook, I fished a small waggler in three-feet of water.

I baited up with brown crumb and loose maggots, with the crumb quite sloppy as I was just a few feet from the bank.

Watch the accompanying video.

I concluded the accompanying video with some footage in the garden.
