From Manchester United to The New Saints as Welshman, Tomas Jones, plays for England

Five years ago, I followed the fortunes of Harry Bower who was a teenager at The New Saints.

Selected to play for English Colleges FA, I interviewed him, wrote articles and even went to see him in action at St. George’s Park.

This time round, it’s Tomas Jones who is following the same route as Harry.

Prior to moving to Park Hall, he was at Manchester United and we cover that in the interview.

Although he is from the Wrexham area – and a fluent Welsh speaker – he qualified to play for English Colleges FA through the TNS FC scholarship partnership with North Shropshire College.
