Young At Heart from 1954, starring Doris Day and Frank Sinatra

Young At Heart stars my favourite actress, Doris Day (Laurie Tuttle), and another legendary celebrity, Frank Sinatra (Barney Sloan).

Released in 1954, it made $2.5 million at the box office.

It features three sisters, who initially all fall for the same man, Alex Burke (played by Gig Young), with the irony being that he actually gets none of them.

Laurie marries a very insecure Barney, who even tries to end his life.

It ends happily ever after though, when he pulls himself together and they have a baby.
